Account Sales Engineer (Lighting Industry)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an international leader in innovative lighting products, is in search of an Account Sales Engineer, based in the Northern Suburbs of Athens.

The role will report to the Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities:
The job holder will be responsible for providing innovative lighting solutions to the company’s customers, ensuring account sales turnover, and the development of the clientele in his/her defined area

More specifically he/she will be:
• Achieving and expanding account sales growth by following up sales development and proposing ways to achieve account target sales
• Networking and providing outstanding customer service orientation that will contribute to the development of new accounts
• Maintaining personal relationships with customer’s shops (dealers)
• Conducting technical seminars and presentations
• Resolving technical issues and providing solutions according to the customer’s queries
• Supporting actively project business
• Attending and participating in sales town hall meetings, and other events
• Defining marketing and communication strategy for customer dedicated activities in line with the company’s policy and in cooperation with the Marketing department

Candidate Profile:
• Mandatory bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in appliances, electricals, or electronics manufacturing companies
• Solid application knowledge and technical understanding of lighting products or electrical equipment
• SAP knowledge will be highly appreciated
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ongoing sense of urgency
