The candidate will be leading the newly formed Supply Chain and Customer Service Department, adapting it to the company`s multi-channel reality, reporting to the Managing Director, GR.


Responsibilities:
The successfully evaluated candidate will enable sustainable business growth by providing excellence in planning, transporting, warehousing and shipping activities, delivering excellent customer-centricity approach to every customer (internal and external).

More specifically he/she will be responsible to:
•Integrate end to end processes, to reach optimized service level and inventories on all levels in value chain, as well as lead logistic distribution
•Develop and execute local logistic strategy
•Operate demand planning and forecast accuracy
•Coordinate, monitor and optimize warehouses (intern: central and branches & externs: 3PL), distribution and stocks
•Steer performance of external Service Providers including distribution agreement
•Handle material master data
•Lead the general support of customers on defined sales platforms (Kärcher products), web mapping services (Kärcher Stores) and further locally defined digital channels
•Direct communication with the company’s HQ in Germany, external logistic operator, transport companies, branches, as well as other internal department in the company
•Review and inquire defined focus platforms
•Store and retrieve customer information in appropriate customer database
•Lead process standardization and improve the “Supply Chain and Customer Service department”, achieving quality company standards and defining/monitoring KPIs
•Lead conversion-oriented support and consultation on customer questions towards products
•Develop high performance team handling of complaints
•Manage a team of about 7 people (customer service, logistics)

Candidate Profile:
•A minimum of 5 years relevant experience managing Supply Chain/Logistics
•SAP experience is must have
•Advanced level in English is mandatory
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Engineering or similar
•Studies in Logistics or MBA are highly valued
•Experience in Customer Service environment is needed
•Experience in organization optimization and in change management are desirable
•More than 3 years’ experience in leading teams
•Strategic thinking and acting
•Customer centricity and communication skills
•Negotiation skills and able to build partnerships
•Focused on performance and results
