Assistant Buyer (Aspropyrgos)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a company with commercial activity in the import and distribution of alcoholics and non-alcoholics in Greece and abroad, is in search of an Assistant Buyer, to join the company’s office in Aspropyrgos.

The role reports directly to the Customer/Operations Manager and General Manager.

Responsibilities:
The job holder will support the manager with all procurement-related tasks, such as managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory, ensuring all goods are checked and delivered on time, and providing administrative support.

More specifically he/she will be responsible for:

• Stock Management and replenishment
• Price negotiation
• Purchase process coordination (buying, payment, logistics)
• Monitor, control, priorities, and route sales and purchase orders
• Prepare and manage of all important documents such as advance payment slips, receipts, Bill of lading, EAD, CMR, Invoicing etc.
• Guide the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
• Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
• Maintain control and ensure regulations to all import and export processes
• Monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new custom requirements and supervising everyday operations, according to standard procedures
• Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts
• Perform all record keeping processes and maintain records of all entry
• Deal with calls and emails from partners
• Collaborate efficiently with various internal departments


Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Logistics, Business Administration or relevant
• 2 years` work experience in a similar role (Logistics, Purchasing, Buying, Back Office in Accounting)
• Experience in an importer and distributor of alcoholics and non-alcoholics will be preferred
• Fluent both in Greek and English (oral and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and especially Excel
• Knowledge of Entersoft and BI would be appreciated
• Communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Ownership and commitment
