ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading Digital Product Firm, is seeking for a Backend Developer (Python), for its premises in Thessaloniki.

What you will be doing:
You will join the Product Development team and you will be responsible for developing new Product features and improving the platform`s functionality.

More specifically:
• You’ll be in charge of adding new functionality to the product`s codebase and figure out the best way to do it
• You will contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle (technical design, code, unit testing, pair reviews, code optimization) and ensure quality standards are adhered to
• Working closely with team members and key stakeholders to document and analyze new requirements and deliver efficient solutions

This is an on-premises position

Περιγραφή

Requirements
• 2+ years of working experience as a Backend Developer
• Solid Knowledge of Python (for web development purposes)
• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Understanding of the HTTP Protocol
• Solid knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
• Experience working with version control (specifically Git)

Any of the following will be considered an asset
• Experience in working with Python web frameworks (Werkzeug, Flask, Django, FastAPI etc)
• Knowledge and working experience with Postgresql
• Experience in using Elasticsearch for searching purposes
• Knowledge of using Redis as a key-value store and pub/sub mechanism
• Experience in using Memcached for caching
• Automated Software Testing (i.e Pytest)
• Experience with asynchronous tasks in Python (i.e Celery)
• Linux Administration Basics
