ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the Energy sector is seeking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their Business Intelligence Team

Workplace Location: Athens - Northern Suburbs (hybrid working model)

What you will be doing:

You will be part of a dynamic BI team and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytical data flow solutions for multiple projects across the business units. You will be using multiple BI and Data management tools and technologies. Our client’s stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL and NoSQL Database Management, Python, Talend Open Studio, Integromat, Power Automate, Process Maker and K2 Business Process Automation Platform; this means you will get the chance to work with most of them.

More specifically you will:

Manage and document master data, identify and analyze data sources, assess and improve data quality of enterprise datasets, develop and troubleshoot complex data flows and blueprint data and application integration solutions

Design and implement BI/DWH projects to cover the BI and Reporting requirements

Design, build, test and deploy advanced ETL processes to export and transform enterprise data

Leverage standard tools to implement, schedule and manage data flows (sync, async, ad-hoc, batch, event based etc.) with comprehensive documentation of related artifacts

Work closely with the software development team to prioritize information and integration needs across projects

Requirements

BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics, or other relevant title

4+ years’ experience in MS SSIS OR Talend Open Studio, database modeling, implementation and tuning using MS SQL, reporting and Data Visualization tools, ideally Power BI and Reporting Services

Experience in ETL tools, data profiling and data quality

Experience in scripting database queries against RBMSs (MySQL and MSSQL)

Experience on statistical and data analysis packages/ tools (raw files, etc.)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Attention to detail and ability to focus on finding elegant solutions to existing data issues to promote data integrity

It would be considered an asset, any experience in the following:

Streaming and big data analysis, managing effectively large data sets

Working experience with Integromat and Power Automate

Process oriented with great documentation skills
