ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a multinational group that operates in the logistics industry developing innovative supply chain solutions and high-quality services to its clients worldwide, is seeking for an enthusiastic and result oriented Client Coordinator to evolve clients potential and deliver high standards of Customer Service in forwarding and sea freight operations.

Role involves:

•Daily management of the administration tasks of branch office in Thessaloniki
•Deliver excellent customer service; respond to queries and objectives, offer advice, and promote innovative solutions.
•Ensure all operations, data entry and file maintenance are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
•Create customer codes and accurately update customers’ data book.
•Communicate with customers and partners, make deals with vendors and suppliers.
•Issue Bills of Lading, follow up truck transportation and prepare documentation for Road, Air and Ocean shipments for all respective import and export companies .
•Follow up bookings and tracking of outbound freight with carriers and overseas Agents.
•Prioritize orders and arrange delivery appointments.
•Monitor Change Of Destinations, change of vessel`s routings and services, cut and runs, Port Skips and vessel omissions.
•Liaise with clients and/or freight forwarders to arrange collections from manufacturers to depots and port.
•Obtain BsL, documents, clearances, certificates and approvals from local, state, and federal agencies, shipping lines, customs brokers, and associated freight forwarders globally.
•Communicate with Shipping Lines and Transport Companies regarding demurrages/detentions, claims, undelivered shipments, delayed arrivals.
•Prepare freight quotations and client/agent billings.
•Review paperwork and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges, and customs fees are billed correctly.

Candidate Profile:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain and logistics will be a plus
•Minimum 2 years of experience in general cargo transport in a forwarding company
•Experience in ocean and air transport will be an asset
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse multicultural environments
•Proficient user in Microsoft Office applications
•Thorough understanding of ocean freight market
