Financial Accountant and Controlling Professional

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting and Reporting:

• Assist in month end/year end closing.
• Ensure that accruals postings are made by the accounting department providing guidance.
• Provide accurate and timely financial information to management in P L (Sales, SG A, Margin) and BS (payables, receivables, inventory, cash) items. Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
• Evaluate financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• IFRS 16 reporting.
• Create company presentations when needed.
• Participate actively in MyData reporting.
• Ensure compliance of accounting postings with relevant accounting standards and regulations (local GAAP and IFRS).
• Ensure compliance with finance policy/updates and reporting requirements of the company.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist CFO in FC/Budget Process.
• Work with departments to create accurate and realistic financial forecasts.
• Administration of all related files and submission of final FC/Budget to Tagetik.
• Provide insights and analysis on budget/FC variances.

3. Controls:

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and cost center accounting.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Monitor Transfer Prices.
• Control customers’ rebate agreements. Coordinate bonus run.
• Control yearly customer credit limits. Ensure the Credit Management Policy is followed by Credit Control.
• Approve blocked orders.
• Supervise and challenge pricing implementation and promo actions.


4. Audit Support:

• Cooperate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.


5. ERP System:

• Utilize SAP systems to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Assist in implementation of new S4HANA in next two years horizon.


6. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
• Implement best practices in financial management.

7. Others:

• Any other ad-hoc tasks / reports requested by the CFO or CEO to assist in the smooth running of the business.
• Support the finance team by being an active key member.


Candidate profile requirements:

• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. MSc will be considered as an asset.
• At least 3 years’ proven experience in accounting and controlling positions.
• IFRS knowledge.
• Excellent Knowledge of English knowledge.
• Proficient user of MS Office.
• SAP Knowledge would be considered an asset.

• Analytical skills, comfort with numbers, critical thinking.
• Efficient in time management, prioritize tasks and deadline oriented.
• Well organized, hard-working, reliable.
• Ability to work independently and function as a team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
