IT Service Desk Specialist


ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a global innovative manufacturer, leader at its’ sector, is looking for an IT Service Desk Specialist to be part of the local IT Team.

Workplace Location: Attiki - Glyka Nera (hybrid working model)


What you will be doing:
You will be reporting directly to the IT Regional Manager, providing end user support, by resolving requests, prioritizing and escalating incidents, plus you will be ensuring proper IT operations in order to meet SLA expectations.

More specifically, you will be:
• Providing first support of incoming incidents and requests to the service desk, ensuring timely, and effective resolution of end-user service requests
• Identifying incidents’ category and log detailed information
• Prioritizing incidents and service requests according to defined processes, and escalating them with accurate documentation, to the relevant team/level
• Recording, tracking, and documenting the service desk incident-solving process
• Using remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting
• Collaborating with existing IT staff to ensure local demands are fulfilled
• Installing hardware and software on clients and servers, being responsible for the configuration, configuration and administration on all information and SCADA systems
• Performing installation, configuration and control of routers, switches, and other network related devices, inside the company’s network.
• Providing SCADA customer and technical support (Indoor Service and CRM support with operational data and reports), plus you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and updating SCADA systems (you will be trained in SCADA by our client)
The role requires occasional travelling for OnSite Support (max. 2 days per month)

• B.Sc. studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any relevant field
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in Helpdesk, IT and User Support roles, ideally at a multinational firm
• Good level knowledge of computer hardware and software systems in an enterprise environment
• Application support experience with MS Office/365
• Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent command of English language (both oral and written)
• Ability to work well within a challenging environment
• Availability to travel when needed (within Greece, up to 2 daily trips per month, for which company covers all expenses)
