ManpowerGroup, on behalf of Akzo Nobel, is in search of a Key Account Manager for the Marine and Protective Coatings Division, of the Sales team, in Athens Greece.

What you will need to do:
• Screening customer base for new opportunities, generate leads and maintain pipeline
• Manage a portfolio of Key Customers, in a designated area, to execute sales plan
• Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service, and support to ensure sales targets are met
• Monitor sales against agreed targets on a regular basis to ensure they are met and where necessary the need for remedial actions are identified, reported and implemented
• Collect, report, and analyze the customer feedback / information on present as well as future market trends in the context of possible further market penetration
• Promote the positive company image and develop long-term relations with the customers
• Create and execute Account/Customer plans aligned with national plans to promote added value
• Review Receivables and control DSO in line with business expectations
• Adequate autonomy to client relationship and acting upon entrepreneurial spirit to increase own clientele maintaining Sales / financial KPI s and relevant agreed targets

What you will need to have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in the Marine and Protective Coatings industry handling strategic accounts preferably
• Commercial and business acumen
• Decision making and result orientation
• Creating value propositions
• Drive and self-motivation, but also team player attitude
• Customer service orientation
• Stakeholder management
• Project management, problem solving
• Communication and presentation skills
• Basic understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve
