ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, the most well-known Financial Institution of the country that provides innovative IT Services and produces some of the most high-performance and data-intensive systems in the market, is seeking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join their Development Team.Workplace Location: Athens – City Center (hybrid model, up to 90% work from home)
Our client is going through a Digital Transformation Phase and is looking to introduce SW Testing Principles to SW Engineering Teams and to Business overall. The role’s purpose is to work together with the teams, understand the existing situation regarding QA, and plan and implement the testing strategy/procedures.

More specifically, you will be:Driving the software quality assurance lifecycle and delivering high-quality releases on time
Defining testing strategy and work closely with cross functional team members to implement it
Developing and executing automated UI, API and functional test suites
Performing various types of testing (API, integration, system, workflow, acceptance, UI, regression and high availability) and reporting test results and metrics
Developing and maintaining test cases and test suites for existing and future applications
Contributing to the development of the toolchain that will support the QA lifecycle and the automation of testing and introduce automated testing tools to development teams
Managing meetings, setting goals, provide feedback on testing-related tasks, allocating testing responsibilities
Instructing and supporting the QA team members by helping them to make decisions and solve problems
Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology/ Engineering or any relevant field
4 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance
Experience with test automation and test management tools
Hands-on experience with programming languages
Knowledge of client / server and internet systems architectures
Scripting or programming skills for automating tasks
Understanding of software version control systems and DevOps practice
Experience with tools commonly used to build continuous CI/CD solutions, such as Gitlab, Azure DevOps, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory and Sonars
It would be nice to have:
Previous experience in introducing / setting up Test Automation principles
Good knowledge of Operating systems, such as LINUX (Redhat, CentOS) and MS Windows
Hands on experience with any Cloud Platform
