Workplace Location: Athens – Northern Suburbs, Remote OR Clients’ location

What you will be doing:

You will be part of the Engineering team and you will oversee activities related to the configuration, installation and monitoring of client applications and systems. In addition, you will determine applicable system revisions or updates in accordance with appropriate operating procedures. Finally, you will be responsible for configuring, tuning, maintaining, and monitoring Unix and Linux Servers.

More specifically you will:

• Participate in implementation and support of client IT infrastructure
• Responsible for installation, planning, implementation, performance and maintenance of customers’ UNIX and Linux environment
• Problem solving and implementation of existing processes and functions
• Provide support to customers’ respective environments
Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative field of expertise
• Very good command of the Greek and English language (both verbal and written)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Linux environments or AIX, Solaris, HP UX
• Proven working experience in Linux, Unix-like installations (such as patching, upgrading, configuration and administration)
• Proven working experience in Enterprise Linux and cluster systems (RHEL, SuSE etc.)
• Certifications in equivalent technologies (Unix, Linux environments)
• Experience in virtualized environments
• Experience in clustering and SAN technologies
• Ability to write scripts for work automation and administration assistance
• Ability in writing technical manuals and documentation as well as design Infrastructure solutions
• Team player with problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn, adapt, communicate and organize
• Customer oriented mentality with a focus in providing quality of service
