Maintenance Supervisor

to be responsible for the preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant’s electro-mechanical equipment to ensure efficiency in production operations and adherence in all safety policies and procedures

The role will report to the Production Manager

Περιγραφή

Responsibilities:

• Supervises the application of the Preventive, Predictive and Breakdown maintenance schedule pertaining all plant’s equipment by elaborating the necessary steps/checkpoints to the Maintenance Electricians and conducting the respective follow-ups
• Schedules and monitors all equipment’s annual calibration according to the timelines arranged with Operations Manager and Production Manager
• Defines and determines the critical spare parts and minimum number of other spare parts per equipment
• Is responsible for scales` verification but also for all mechanisms` certification, including ISO audit etc.
• Analyzes and utilizes data coming from critical equipment maintenance history, spare parts consumption and maintenance methods used for optimizing preventive maintenance
• Supports Production Manager in conducting market research, purchase requests and purchase orders of tools, spare parts and maintenance services
• Assists Production Manager in selecting, negotiating with and coordinating collaborators through annual maintenance contracts for HVAC, forklift trucks, high-medium-low voltage equipment, etc.
• Supports Production Manager in the preparation of the yearly spare-parts’ budget by providing data on the supply and yearly needs of equipment’s spare-parts
• Supports Production Manager in the statutory compliance pertaining Overhead Cranes, Pressure Vessels, Electrical Transformers etc.
• Assists Production Manager in coordinating and liaising with respective government departments or independent bodies for the application of relevant requirements and compliances
• Supports Production Manager with the external contractors on the qualitative delivery of the works/projects.
• Manages, coaches, mentors and organizes Maintenance Team and provides to them constructive feedback on their performance according to established standards of operations’ quality
• Measures and analyzes data coming from different aspects of the Maintenance department and takes action in improving maintenance’s efficiency sharing these results with Senior Management at regular intervals
• Liaises with other departments in a cooperative manner to contribute in the development and sustainability of a cordial working climate
• Actively participates in the improvement of production’s efficiency by suggesting optimizations and cost-saving practices

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (AEI or TEI)
• At least 3 years’ relevant working experience in manufacturing.
• Very Good knowledge of English Language (in technical terms both verbally and written)
• Hands-on experience on electrical and mechanical maintenances in a manufacturing plant
• Knowledge of troubleshooting in automation / PLC / inverter systems/ SCADA is a must
• IT literate, good command of MS Office
• Knowledge of ERP ideally SAP
