ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an International Technology Services Provider, offering gaming solutions, is seeking a VB.NET Software Engineer to join their Product Development Team.

Workplace Location: Athens, Eastern suburbs – Hybrid Work Model.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing new functionalities, optimizations, supporting and maintaining the existing Product.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Efficiently and effectively design, develop and modify/refactor high-quality proprietary lottery and betting industry software

Develop and support unit testing

Deploy and support software applications

Optimize the applications for maximum performance and scalability

Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and formulating concepts and ideas for additional products, tools and services to be provided

Requirements

University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

3+ year`s experience in professional software development

Experience in programming using C# and VB .Net

Familiarity with programming stored procedures in relational databases (preferably Oracle database)

Familiarity with ΗΤΜL - CSS - JS

Experience in developing and consuming Web Services (REST/SOAP)

Good knowledge and experience in ASP.NET (Web Forms) and Object-Relational mapping tools like LINQ

Good knowledge of Source Control tools, such as Git

You have an excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and spoken

Any experience in the following will be highly desirable

Experience with reporting tools (preferable Crystal Reports)

Experience with Coding for real time, event driven system
