Plant Technical Manager (Greece & Cyprus)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of building materials such as modern insulation materials, drylining systems, plasters, thermal insulation composite systems and construction equipment and tools, is in search of a Technical Manager for the company’s plant in Western Greece.

Περιγραφή

Responsibilities:
- Develop capital programs to enhance plants performance within the company’s rules
- Ensure that area of responsibility works within Environmental, Health & Safety and Quality standards
- Proactively drive the process and personnel forward through good effective management
- Interface with plant departments
- Control and manage a maintenance budget
- Minimize delays and maximize performance
- Be the custodian of Health & Safety standards, Compliance systems and Corporate Responsibility (including Competition and Bribery Acts)
- Where appropriate, act accordingly to rectify issues of non-compliance
- Support the achievement of quality products
- Support Regional and Global headquarters according to their requirements for Greece and Cyprus
- Correct management of staff by developing positive, open relationships with all team members, direct reports and the wider organization
- Develop a committed and loyal team through coaching and training to achieve high levels of performance
- Always have knowledge of shift activities ________________________________________
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as Technical Manager preferably in a building materials industry
- Advanced engineering knowledge and skills
- Proven experience in SAP use
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety systems
- Sound financial understanding and accustomed to budgetary planning, good writing/reporting skills
- Structured evaluation and problem-solving skills
- Management of people, performance and development
- Excellent communication skills
- Frequent travel availability ________________________________________
