ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a firm that provides innovative IT Solutions, is seeking for experienced Platform Engineers

Workplace Location: Athens – Northern Suburbs

What you will be doing:
As a Platform Engineer you will be part of the Engineering team and you will participate in the design, implementation and support of toolchains and workflows that enable high performance capabilities for software engineering and software delivery projects.

More specifically you will:
• Analyze, Design, Implement and support automation, in Linux and Container environments such as RHEL, Openshift and Kubernetes
• Perform design, implementation, technical documentation and for Event Streaming, Indexing and NoSQL Platforms
• Perform L2/L3 support and escalate tickets to the vendors when necessary
• Pursue the development of your skills through training and certifications

Requirements
• A Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required
• Experience in IT systems management with a focus on Linux technology stack (Bash, optimization, tuning experience)
• Knowledge of automation and IaaC tools and platforms.
• Competent with most business technologies within an office environment
• Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate, professional manner

Any of the following will be considered an asset
• Relevant L2/L3 experience working in a technical support or Managed Services Provider
• Experience in using any of the following Kafka, Spark, Redis, Elastic Stack, Kubernetes, Openshift.
