ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an ambitious Company that has acquired and developed renewable energy projects in Europe, is seeking for a Project Manager to join the company team based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Περιγραφή

Role involves:
• Work with the Developer, the Environmental, Technical and the Legal advisors to promote, advance and supervise the development of the pipeline acquired.
• Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project’s success.
• Supervise and lead technical activities during development
• Participate in meetings with the utility and any authority having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory issues concerning the project.
• Analyse project-specific risks and opportunities; develop a risk management plan coordinating development, project execution strategy, contracting / commercial strategy, and project insurance options
• Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.
• Act as Owner’s Representative, operate as the project’s single point of contact for all technical and commercial communications
• Evaluate monthly developer progress reports with an eye toward managing project risks and exploiting project opportunities
• Prepare monthly reports for the project Investor including budget, project planning and first-hand observation of the project progress Assess the feasibility of new Renewable Energy project the company is considering acquiring in Greece and the Balkan.
• In a later stage, support the EPC and O&M RFP, the contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with EPC contractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors’ work in all construction and commissioning phases

Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering fields.
• Proven track record of 5+ years of in Project Management of infrastructure projects, Experience with Solar PV utility scale project management.
• Proven track record of involvement in an infrastructure permitting and approval process.
• Electrical Licensing strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory aspects.
• Fluent in English is a prerequisite, Spanish considered a plus.
• Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary and/or stay abroad for long periods of time.
• Driving License required

• Strong leadership and communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability.
• Self-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details and accuracy.
• Self-disciplined and result oriented.
