Quality Control Engineer for QMS (Quality Management Systems)

for the company’s manufacturing facilities at Lamia.

Reporting to the QC Manager, the QC Engineer is responsible for the Quality Management System of the company, endorses an operational role for promoting the QMS, and monitors the implementation of the QMS throughout the company.

Responsibilities:
• Quality Management System tools implementation and follow up
• Translates company’s policy into Quality Management System objectives
• Standardize the Quality Management System and issues the relevant implementation instructions.
• Ensure the implementation and the consistency (relevant data) of Quality Management System
• Manage and implements documentary system rules for his perimeter
• Operational performance
• Lead working groups, propose solutions, bring problem solving tools and performs error analysis with the respective teams.
• Alert on all risky situations detected.
• Participate on regular meetings for QC fields.
• Statutory regulations and applicable rules
• Ensure the regulatory monitoring by conducting regular respective audits.
• Ensure the respect of Quality Management System rules.
• Obtain and maintain the certifications for the unit
• Manage relationships with certification bodies and participates in respective audits
• Continuous improvement
• Improve standards
• Evaluate the potential solutions
• Make sure all alternatives are analyzed
• Supervise the setup of the solution/corrective action
• Training and people development
• Realize the Quality Management System trainings.
• Make shop floor people aware of Quality Management System.
• Coach employees to the audits

Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical)
• Minimum two and up to five (2-5) years of work experience in a similar position on Quality Management Standards and processes
• Good knowledge of processes (formalizing and writing)
• basic knowledge on ISO 9001
• Able to do internal audits and follow up
• Fluent (in writing and speaking) in Greek and English language
• Ability to tool implementation and follow up
• Good knowledge of statutory regulations and applicable rules
