Key roles and responsibilities inherent to the position:•Check the works during progress and on completion to ensure that it has been manufactured in line with the procedures and applicable standards.
•Ensure that inspection and tests are carried out in line with the inspection and test plans.
•Non-conformity management and report issuance.
•Root cause analysis routine based on suppliers/internal defect track record for continuous improvement.
•Support Internal/Customer random audits.
What you will do:
•Ensure compliance with the project Test and Inspection Plan.
•Carry out inspections at the reception (handover) of the trains.
•Execute internal quality controls, including: incoming goods inspection, change implementation, control-sheets, safety critical aspects, welding NDT, bolt tightening, cable crimping and routing, finishings, sealing/bonding, painting, etc.
•Accompany the customer representative during the agreed holding/witness points.
•Implement additional quality controls and/or acceptance criteria were needed.
•Ensure that all the findings are resolved prior to commissioning of the modernized trains.
•Ensure the calibration of the equipment used.
•Collect all completed check sheets and other records in the Car History Book.
•Ensure the training of the personnel.
Requirements:
•Bachelor`s degree in Engineering,.
•Minimum experience of 2 years in quality control activities in high demanding industries such as but not limited to: aeronautic, renewables, automotive or rolling stock.
•Knowledge on different methodologies for root cause analysis.
•Experience in the use of the various inspection and measuring equipment.
•Experience in special process control (painting, bolt tightening, bonding, welding, crimping).
•Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
•Familiarity with basic administrative procedures and protocols.
•High proficiency in both English and Greek languages (spoken and written).
