Sales Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, an international leading company in industrial water treatment, is in search of a Sales Engineer to join the company in Athens.The role will report to Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:- Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales
- Maintain customer contact after the proposal is submitted, providing follow-up responses and additional information as necessary during the customer’s evaluation process
- Follow-up on orders, deliveries, and invoices
- Submit bid proposals
- Provide technical support to customers identifying and resolving customer challenges
- Propose solutions to develop the sales activity in the region
- Ensure analytical monitoring of water qualities at customers
- Establish analysis and visit reports including potential corrective actions and action plans
- Be able to perform the first level of start-up and maintenance of water treatment solutions
- Anticipate the parts required for preventive maintenance
- Prepare monitoring reports, periodic and annual reviews, and prevention plans related to customers
- Perform technical optimization audits
- Keep operating procedures on treatments up to date
- Comply with safety instructions
- Meet objectives and goals as defined by the Sales Manager
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering or relevant background
- 5-10 years of experience in B2B Sales in the industry
- Previous technical experience in industrial water treatment will be an asset
- Fluent both in English and Greek
- Excellent user of Microsoft Office
- Driving License
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel
