Duties/Responsibilities:As a Sales Engineer, you will be the vital link between engineering solutions and client needs, helping customers understand the commercial value of complex technical offerings. This is a client-facing role that includes regular travel to Romania for meetings, presentations, and site visits—making strong cross-cultural communication and adaptability key.
More Specifically:
• Provide technical consultation to clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors
• Translate engineering specs into commercially viable proposals during the sales process
• Collaborate with clients to define equipment needs and develop tailored technical solutions
• Deliver clear, compelling product demos and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Prepare and contribute to bids for public and private tenders, ensuring alignment with both regulatory and client requirements
• Partner with engineering and sales teams to match market needs with technical capabilities
• Analyze market trends, client pain points, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide product training, and support client satisfaction post-sale
• Build long-term relationships with current and prospective clients, with frequent travel across Romania to nurture these connections
Candidate’s Profile:
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in technical sales, engineering, or related fields (especially in energy or infrastructure)
• Bachelor`s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Fluent in Romanian and Greek (spoken & written); English proficiency is also required
• Solid understanding of public/private sector bid processes and project management tools
• Familiarity with power systems, industrial machinery, or infrastructure products
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to Romania for client-facing activities
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and proposals
