ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading company in Electrical and Electronic Manufacturing and a strategic partner of the world’s top brands, is in search of a Sales Manager, responsible for the markets of Italy, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Albania, Portugal, Northern Macedonia, and Malta.

Job Location: HQ in the Northern Suburbs of Athens, Greece

Responsibilities:
The job holder will be implementing, to the fullest, the Commercial strategy and lead Commercial activities within the region of responsibility.

Commercial related tasks:
• Ensure the achievement of the agreed growth objectives in terms of profitability, market share and operational efficiency
• Strengthen commercial punch and build stronger relationships with customers
• Get closer to customers, create value for them and translate this into long term growth
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis. Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
• Ensure that new opportunities are fully investigated and proper propositions for sales development in the region of operations are made, in order to expand current business relationships and develop new clientele
• Ensure the effective implementation of the annual business plan, in order to contribute to its overall effectiveness and efficiency
• Establish, improve and maintain effective relations with key accounts personnel, develop detailed knowledge of their decision-making process and gather important information that assess their level of satisfaction

Admin/Reporting related tasks:
• Provide company management with reports from ongoing, dynamic, analysis regarding market conditions, competition, and sales activities (sales forecasting). Justify the reasons for any deviations and take corrective actions, to be aligned with the agreed budget
• Assess commercial landscape (market size and growth potential, competition and industry trends monitoring, corporate image promotion, etc.) and the associated opportunities of existing or new products required for the accounts of responsibility
• Develop detailed knowledge and reports of the political, economic, and cultural particularities affecting the countries of accountability
• Ensure all invoices are collected with agreed timeliness i.e. No Overdue

Candidate Profile:
• BSc or MSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Sales related
• 2 – 5 years of work experience in a Sales/Commercial role managing Key Accounts
• Mandatory experience from a multinational production/manufacturing company
• B2B beverage industry knowledge will be appreciated
• Fluent in English and an additional foreign language (Spanish/Italian) will be desired
• Passion to win and effective collaboration
• Act as entrepreneur but also be customer focus
• Expert negotiating and influencing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Numerate with strong analytical and problem solving/solutions finder attitude
