a Senior Civil Engineer
to join the Tendering Department team

Περιγραφή

Responsibilities:
• Prepares for review and approval by the Tendering Director a tender plan including internal and external requirements.
• Monitors the performance against the plan, follow up and co-ordinate areas of concern.
• Towards the end of the tender period, ensures that a proper tender preparation has been established and arrange an internal risk review and closing meeting with the Tendering Director.
• Prepare, submit, and defend the Closing Form to the Tendering Director and to ensure the timely submission of the tender.
• Review and validate direct and indirect cost estimates related to tenders prepared by others.
• Seeks utilization of available resources from region and/or Divisions to contribute to the tender preparation as required with the approval of Tendering Director and the respective Regional and/or Divisional Manager.
• Follows up commercial and contractual issues and prepare suggested assumptions and qualifications for internal management review.
• Appointed as the main focal point of subsequent negotiations with the Customer and other third parties and effectively addresses the customer requirements during and post-tender period.
• Complies with Corporate Governance rules, company’s systems, policies and procedures. Obtain all necessary approvals for the execution of his responsibilities.


Candidate Profile:

• MEng in Civil Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry
• has a general knowledge of the market in a global level within the industry.
• has exposure to international work environment (highly preferable)
• fluency in English language
• is aware of tendering procedures.
• is commercially oriented.
• has knowledge of cost estimation and economic, technical & contractual evaluation of a project


Competences & Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Team spirit and international mindset, wants to join a multicultural environment
• has excellent negotiation & sales & presentation skills
• wants to develop himself professionally
