ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a global leader and pioneer in entertainment with an innovative platform is seeking for an experienced Java Developer (Product) to join their Product Development Team.

Workplace Location: Athens, North Suburbs in a Hybrid work model.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing new functionalities, integrations with 3rd party systems, optimizations, supporting and maintaining the existing Web ticketing Platform. Our client mostly works with Agile Methodology and their stack is Spring Boot focused and Java 11.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Design and develop new functionalities on existing ticketing platform

Participate in and contribute to the daily, weekly, sprint cycle team ceremonies

Inform recommendations, of strategic projects to mature and improve the software

Participate in proofs of concepts, engineering, and implementation projects

Elicit and analyze requirements for new developments

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing functionalities of ticketing platform.

Deploy application to different environments (QA, UAT, PROD)

Provide mentoring to team members

Automate tasks (deployment processes) through specific tools and scripting

Write documentation and User-manuals to provide instructions to end users

Requirements

University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

5+ years’ experience in professional software development

Experience programming in advanced Java SE / EE platforms

Experience in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate

Experience designing and developing REST API’s

Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MSSQL)

Familiarity with build tools such as Maven

Proficient understanding of Git and its workflows

Demonstrated ability to write Unit tests using JUnit
