ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client Opticable Greece, a manufacturing company of fiber optic cables in Greece, subsidiary company of Nexans, is looking for a “Supply Chain Responsible” for the company`s manufacturing facilities in Lamia.

Responsibilities:

The role reporting to the Supply Chain Manager of Opticable Belgium and collaborating closely with the Production Manager, will be:

• Responsible for the supply chain planning of the production.
• Planning the Production, managing the Capacity of the Plant and the plant bottlenecks.
• Part of the manufacturing plan team.
• Serving and satisfying the customers by fulfilling their demands through the most efficient use of resources.
• Providing delivery date to the customer.
• Communicating updates to the local clients about the order delivery dates/order execution.
• Responsible for Logistics and Supply Chain performance.
• Planning the flow of the raw materials to the factory.
• Managing and ensuring the accuracy of the master data
• Managing the raw materials requirements vs production plans/forecasts and stock levels, editing PR’s and being responsible for the reception and storage of raw materials.
• Being accountable for the Inventories
• Developing innovative projects for major flows and supports the strategic development of the company.
• In line with sales, sets priorities on manufacturing planning.
• Turning the Sales Back-Office orders into Production orders.

Supply Chain Strategy
• Implementing locally the Supply Chain strategy.

Supply Chain Performance Management
• Overseeing implementing the objectives and KPI’s defined.
• Responsible for the performances achieved (Stocks, costs).
• Ensuring Quality level of services required by Customers.

Customer Demand Management (Finished goods and Deliveries)
• Managing and coordinating the monthly SOP meeting.
• Overseeing converting sales forecasts to plant load per families /categories of products.
• Ensuring forecast process performance.

Qualifications and experience:

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree from University or Technical University.
• Academic knowledge in Supply Chain will be considered as an asset.
• Up to 2 years work experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• SAP Knowledge will be considered as a plus.
