ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a company that provides Managed and IT Services in Enterprise clients, is seeking for an experienced System Engineer

Workplace Location: Athens – Northern Suburbs, Remote OR Clients’ location

Περιγραφή

What you will be doing:
You will be part of the System Engineering team and you be involved in the successful delivery of the company’s projects to Enterprise clients

More specifically you will:
• Manage and support VMware infrastructure 
• Manage and support Hyper-V infrastructure
• Manage and support multi-vendor server
• Perform infrastructure upgrades. Apply routine Operating Systems patches to resolve issues, maintain supportability, and ensure security
• Performance Tuning: Perform ongoing performance tuning and system resource optimization
• Setup and respond to standardized alerts, perform regular log analysis, monitor, and maintain systems to identify any issues. Maintain overall system health to maximize system uptime, and ensure delivery of service level objectives
• Develop documentation for assigned projects including installation guides, troubleshooting guides, run books etc
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry and guide project teams to follow industry best practices
• Proactively ensure the highest level of availability for the mission critical infrastructure
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Participate in the deployment of new Software/Hardware

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years working experience as a system engineer
• Experience with VMware products
• Troubleshooting skills
• Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Team player with problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn, adapt, communicate, and organize
• Customer satisfaction orientation
• Quality focused
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Any of the following will be considered a plus
• VMware certifications
• DELL EMC/HPE/IBM H/W Training and Certifications
